The river season is now full swing with the first weekend following the 16Th.

Burwell Lode

Very weedy and so a weed rake and cutter is a must. Some very large carp have been spotted around the cock up bridge.Heavy gear and stalking tactics are best.Bream and tench early morning in cleared swims.

Cam

Fantastic bream catches around the pink house at Chesterton railway bridge.Feeder with worm and maggot best or long pole over ground bait,

River Lark

Early morning tench and bream in cleared pre baited swims.The river goes off form around mid day but evening catches in the deeper water near the bridge with skimmers showing.

Ouse at Barford

Tench to prebaited swims.Roach and dace to float fish maggot.

Hundred foot river

Plenty of skimmers at the Anchor pub section.Rudd,roach and skimmers further downstream at the Pickerels pub section.

Block Fen

Brilliant sport in both pits with a reported large double from the B pit. Rudd and roach plentiful in the A pit fishing close to a feature.

Heritage Lake

Continues to produce double figure carp to pop up or surface bait. Silver fish in the holes in the weed beds. Rudd to 1lb and tench to 3lb.

Anderson lake

Great sport with silver fish a chuck to maggot with better fish on the corn.

Milton Country Park

Night anglers continue to do well with double figure carp. Roach and Rudd in the holes in the weed.
