The mild weather has been very welcome and some long awaited work has begun at a number of venues.
On Sunday, Daren and Ben Mansfield collected rubbish at Barnwell Lake that had accumulated over the winter months. A significant amount of improvement work has been carried out at Andersons Lake, including the restoration of some swims and a general tidy up. Heritage Lake is open again now the improvement work to the track is complete.
All venues continue to have high water conditions with some swims /platforms under water.
Alternative swims can be found on the venues.
A spring clean is proposed this Sunday at Block Fen, 10 am at the A Pit. Please help us - we need volunteers to litter pick.

Carp to 4lb have been captured over the last few weeks on a variety of baits. The fish remain reluctant to feed as the water temperature remains cold despite the mild weather. The venue will hit form if the mild spell continues.
Skimmers to 1lb and small roach have been captured using light pole rigs and pinkie bait over a little ground bait.
Carp to 29lb from the B Pit - boilies are best with fishmeal being preferred. Pike to 12lb to pop up dead bait in the shallow swims. Some rudd to 12oz have been captured in selected swims from the A Pit, but much depends on the wind direction.
No reports but fish active against the island.
Pike to 12lbs to pop up dead bait from the shallow swims in Todd's Pit.
