Catch report from Ian Asplen:
Decided to fish the Great Ouse at Overcote, after a good walk from the carpark of about 500 yards just before the bend. Fishing bread punch at 13m, after five hours finished with about 12lb of roach and skimmers. Well worth a trip.
Catch report from long standing club member Ian Asplen who is moving away from Cambridge:
This will be my final catch report as I am going south near the Lea valley. Hope to venture north for a few trips and the odd match as I'll miss the fens. Fished at A14 bridge today by the concrete post on the tip and what a day I had, Bream to 5lb some nice roach which was nice to see and a couple of Chub ended the day with about 40lb. Oh how I will miss this river.

Last Sunday at 9am I caught this 26lb pike from Dicksons Pit. I was ledgering sardines on the bottom.
As you can see by my face I was well happy.
